Don't Take a Wife Jeremiah was instructed to NOT take a bride nor have sons or daughters, why? (Chapter 16) What did God take away from Judah? What did He remove from them? The same harshness and horrific message was proclaimed by Jesus (Matthew 23). There ARE incomparable days coming. We cannot take this lightly. We're talking about: Life and death… Grace and gravity of His word… Damnation and deliverance… Parents and grandparents take heed: chapter 2:29- Look at your ways, actions and lifestyles. They responded with, "We don't care, we're going to do what we love and want!" Keep a mind what had happened with Josiah. It looked like a great revival was happening but only reforms took place but it didn't affect the hearts of men. People gathered in conformity but not because of personal convictions and care for being right with Him. The leaders and parents distorted how their children would see Him. You have demonstrated to them I am not worth trusting, heeding and following the Lord. You are so easy prey for the enemy. He doesn't have to fight for you. You, acting by your feelings and have instinctively seek after them enemy. The wrong kind of love does not win… it only corrupts.
