Advocating for change is not an easy thing.  Society does not do well with changes but many have fought for change over the world's history.  People with disability have been the most oppressed population ever throughout history.  Washington state is on its way to being the first state to have a "Nothing About Us Without Us Act"  making it mandatory to have those receiving services and those making policy about us, must include us in the planning and discussions about things that will affect our life.  Join us tonight as we discuss our hopes in this new bill.
