Garion is feeling drained in the aftermath of working magic with Aunt Pol, and even though he’s worried about Durnik being unconscious for so long and the others being injured, he is present enough to prompt his aunt to get Wolf back on track when his grandfather gets lost in the misery of his grief. Belgarath then leads them up the mountain and through the worsening blizzard to the mysterious abandoned city of Prolgu.

Sondra has been making plans and opened her shared virtual writing studio once more because mortality paid a visit. Alysia has been enjoying Halloween festivities? But so much peopling has not sparked her fire. It seems they both draw energy from opposite forms of social interaction.
