Scalps have been turning up all over Berkeley and the populace is scared. 10 murders in 10 weeks, all committed with a Hand Saw, and still nobody has a clue who the killer is. Puzzling Uberbrow Evidence is an aging Oakland detective with a fondness for Dream Fluff donuts. When his friend, Howlland Owll, is kidnapped, he enlists the aid of a charming actor Philo Drummond.

Yonder, Puzzling was struggling to make his way through the magic cornfield behind Philo's place. He had severely hurt his double chin during the window incident, and was starting to lose strength. A pack of feral marmots suddenly appeared. One by one they latched on to Puzzling Evidence who yielded to the furry onslaught and collapsed. The last thing he saw before losing consciousness was a buzzing horde of marmots clutching his vintage cassette deck.

It was Friday the 13th, About four hours later, Puzzling awoke, his double chin throbbing. It was dark and Puzzling did not know where he was. Deep in the hazy fantastic pumpkin patch, he was alarmingly lost. Like a drunken sailor at happy hour, he remembered that his vintage cassette deck was taken by the marmots. That's when, to his horror, a retarded marmot emerged from the lemur-infested moor.

Can Drummond help Evidence overcome his video game addiction and find answers before the killer and his deadly Hand Saw strike again?
