This week, Wisconsin's GOP legislative majority used a lame duck extraordinary session to curtail powers of incoming Democratic Gov.-elect Tony Evers, setting the stage for what is likely to be a contentious relationship for the coming years. On the one hand, Republican leaders acknowledged a need to work with the next governor on some issues, but they also clearly signaled that, politically, they don't want to be his friend.
