Don’t Waste Your Life
JOY (Jesus, Others, You)
Galatians 5:13 For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, BUT through love serve one another.
“Christian maturity begins to grow when you can sense your concern for others outweighing your concern for yourself.” - Rooted
God uses people.
1 peter 4:10 10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
Mark 10:45, “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
God uses unlikely people
1 Samuel 16 6 When they arrived, Samuel saw Eliab and thought, “Surely the Lord’s anointed stands here before the Lord.”
7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
11 So he asked Jesse, “Are these all the sons you have?”
“There is still the youngest,” Jesse answered. “He is tending the sheep.”
