Take the weirdness of 1939's Wizard of Oz, run it through the crazy filter that was childrens movies of the 80's and you get this week's fever dream of a film, Return to Oz.  We discuss the incredible set and character design, how dangerous this movie feels - particularly for the children watching it, and how deeply this movie resides in Wade's sensiblilities.  In anticipation for watching Wicked, check out this 80's gem.

Picture yourself, off to the mountains with your best friend to renovate your new vacation home, and some college kids decide you are psycho killers but they can't quite stay alive long enough to bring you to bloody justice. Yup, we're talking Tucker & Dale vs. Evil, a comedy horror classic.  Amanda and Wade discuss the satisfaction of a great premise executed perfectly, how much fun it must have been to play Chad, and all the great deaths in this movie.  Enjoy, and remember: hillbilly prejudice is still prejudice.

We're going on a road trip to the early nineties when two women who want to go fishing end up grappling with life and going out in a blaze of cinematic glory. That's right, this week we welcome out good friend Reverie Klein into the shoebox hut to discuss a classic: Thelma & Louise.  We go over Reverie's origin story with this film, the brilliant pacing and cinematographic choices Ridley Scott made, and how the movie is perfectly cast. So grab a hat - any hat - and listen in!
