#38. Planning ahead for holiday gatherings is crucial for loved ones living with dementia. My guest is Carolyn Berry.  She  currently serves as the Education Director at Alzheimer’s Arkansas. Carolyn’s knowledge, vision and passion has allowed the organization to expand the reach to underserved communities throughout the state of Arkansas and help create policies for new funding for respite care. She received her Certified Dementia Practitioner in 2018. Carolyn serves on the state’ s Alzheimer’s and Dementia Advisory Council creating laws and policies to help Arkansans that are affected with various forms of Dementia.
