Founding members Tom Johnston & Patrick Simmons of the Doobie Brothers each call in to talk about their upcoming tours, new music, and thoughts on a variety of things including their appearance on “What’s Happening” in 1978 and behind one of the band’s most well-known songs, “Jesus Is Just Alright.” Rob Maaddi, head Phillies writer with the Associated Press in Philadelphia puts the suntan lotion down long enough to give an update from spring training in Clearwater, including the excitement of the Bryce Harper signing. Maaddi also shares for a few minutes regarding his faith in the Lord and the addition of his wife Remy to the “Faith on the Field” radio show he hosts each week (www.faithonthefieldshow.com for more info).
