The Green Bay Packers fell to the Detroit Lions 34-31 in a Thursday night thriller, marking the sixth win for the Lions in the last seven head-to-head matchups. 

Does that mean the Packers can't beat the Lions if/when they meet again in the playoffs? Not necessarily.
