Arthur’s most recent endeavor was co-producing, writing, and playing on Robby Krieger’s latest solo album, The Ritual Begins at Sundown. Which happens to include Chunga’s Revenge!!
He recalls working with Ray Mazurek, John Densmore, and Robby on “The Movie”, a track that opens the Oliver Stone movie.
Working with Zappa: Recording Joe’s Garage, Touring (he did 4 tours with FZ), being Clonemeister, inspiring Teenage Wind when FZ found out he went to school with Christopher Cross, inspiring My Sharona quotes when FZ found out he was friends with Bruce Gary, drummer from the Knack, to having Tink Runs Amok named after him FZ found out it was Arthur’s childhood name.
Georgio Moroder: Working on Scarface, D.C. Cab, Ton Gun – they talk about how he played almost all instruments on Berlin’s, “Take My Breath Away” and much more!!
