Growing up on Long Island New York to loving, Jewish parents, she should have a typical suburban childhood, but she rebelled, first attempting suicide at age 5, then becoming addicted to drugs after being raped.

In this episode, we about how she ended up in rehab, mental illness, PTSD, eating disorders, relationships, the benefits of writing, art, therapy and how she ultimately found recovery.
