On this episode of Rad-Cast, we welcome Isaac Valdez. Isaac is a certified medical dosimetrist with a background in applied mathematics from the University of Houston-Downtown. He trained as a medical dosimetrist at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center – School of Health Professions from 2015 to 2017. He worked at the University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center as a Medical Dosimetrist before taking on a new role as a Radiation Oncology Clinical Program Manager with the MD Anderson Proton Center back in Houston, Texas. As a leader in the radiation oncology field, he is a strong advocate for advanced technologies that can improve the optimization, delivery, and safety of oncological services— beyond the advancements, his utmost priority is always putting the needs of the patient and their families first.
