This week on the podcast we welcome writer and director Damion Damaske into the Kombat Kave to discuss Episode 5 of Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm, Old Friends Never Die, and we have a truly insane time and work hard to earn our Explicit tag. This episode tells the story of Sub-Zero, Smoke, and the Cyber Lin Kuei. It sounds like a lot happens in this one, but honestly there's about 5 minutes worth of story in this one. It's still probably the best episode of DotR so far.
