Proverbs 21:2

The local Church is to be unified and serving. The Lord works so graciously in our lives. We are to serve others in the Church for we are one body in Christ. From Romans 12:4-8

Christians are called to not be conformed to this world but be transformed. This transformation happens, according to Romans 12, by the renewing of our mind. Each Christian must seek to allow God's Word and other means that God gives us, to change us. From Romans 12:2.

Philippians 4:4-8

Many motives can influence the Christian, but Paul in Romans 12 speaks of the mercies of God being our motive for serving God. As we understand more of what God has done for us, this should lead us to give ourselves away fully to Him. This is reasonable service. From Romans 12:1.
