Mitch Gerads has made a name for himself as the artist on such military themed comics as "The Activity", "The Punisher" and now DC/Vertigo's "Sheriff of Babylon"- a murder mystery set in the early days of the Iraq war. He discusses how, with writer Tom King, they crafted the look of a very specific time that wasn't heavily documented.
