There are numerous double standards in the world but the ones that annoy me the most are the ones we, as a society, let the politicians, celebrities and athletes get away with.  They are aloud to be racist, bigoted, abusive, violent and sexist assholes who can violate the law and get away with it all because they are public figures.  Why do they get to get away with literal murder when the general public can't use marijuana in every state without being thrown in prison for 20 to life?
