On this episode of They Walk Among America… Dawn was just beginning to break in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, at around 5:30AM on June 25th, 1979, when a phone call was made to the police. The 911 operator picked up the phone to be met by a man's voice. He ominously commented that police could find a woman’s body in a parked car at a local motel. The officers were dispatched to the parking lot of the Host Inn hotel, a large convention centre motel located around 3 miles from Pennsylvania Turnpike’s Harrisburg Interchange. They approached the red 1978 Plymouth Horizon hatchback and immediately observed that the trunk was partially open. As the officers got closer, they saw a pale arm hanging out of the vehicle. They slowly opened up the trunk to reveal the naked body of a woman…
