One of the 12 disciples, Thomas, doesn’t get a lot of exposure in the Gospels. I remember two stories where Thomas stands out. The first is when he courageously encourages the 12 to
go with Jesus to Lazarus’ house even though it might result in their arrest or worse. The second is when he admits he
wouldn’t believe Jesus rose from the grave unless he could touch Jesus’ scarred hands and side. This resulted in us remember Thomas as doubting Thomas even though he was clearly more than a doubter.
