At Easter time we hear all different perspectives on the meaning and mission of Jesus. Was he a miracle worker, principally concerned with the sick and suffering? Was he a good teacher who came to proclaim good virtues and morals? Or was he a prophet of doom, announcing God's judgement and the immanent downfall of Jerusalem? Perhaps he was something else entirely. With so many interpretations circling in society it can undermine our own convictions as to who Jesus was and what he accomplished at Easter.

In this podcast Gartho and Hicksey attempt to delve into some common doubts they have experienced when searching for the true meaning of Easter and seek a way forward that can encourage us to go on in the faith.

Down Not Out is two Aussie mates having a crack at encouraging their Christian brothers and sisters who for whatever reason no longer attend a local church. They are not professional psychologists or pastors but have real lived experience leading and caring for people with mental health issues.
