I FOUND HIM! Douglas C Mann! Ok...Bruce Fitzhugh found him. Ok...he's on Facebook so he wasn't exactly hiding. Anyways I am joined by guest host Bruce of Living Sacrifice to speak to the legendary Doug Mann who founded R.E.X Music just after his time in the Coast Guard with $1,200, preceding Tooth And Nail by around seven years. Doug has decided this is his first, last and only interview that he will do concerning R.E.X. so I thank him for letting it unfold on my show. However, as you will hear...it isn't bad blood. I think there was more mystery and drama surrounding it then it deserved. Either way, THIS is the place to hear it and thank you Doug for taking the time. Really fun conversation; Bruce and Doug just run off and hijack the first half! Great Psychoboy studio story.
This was a long one so we're gonna split this one in half. Bruce had to leave halfway through so next week there's no guest host...it's just me and Douglas C Mann. This one is definitely R.E.X. heavy and next week is a little more personal about him. Enjoy!

DJ, call me. It's time.
Chapter 79 Music: Celebrating some of my favorite R.E.X. selections. I'm thirteen again.
Living Sacrifice: "Enthroned" (from Non-Existent during Dougs' tenure at R.E.X.)
Sacrament: "Testimony Of Apocalypse" (LOVED this album.)
Believer: "Unite" (demo from 1987 (love that "tape hiss") then a little from the Extraction From Mortality LP)
Living Sacrifice: "Breathing Murder" (SPITE! Haha. It'll make sense in context.)
DC Talk: "Jesus Freak" (Doug worked A and R for one of the biggest Christian releases ever. That's a thing.)
Iona: "Treasure" (from the album "Beyond These Shores, which Doug worked on with the band at Forefront.)
Circle Of Dust: "Deviate: Metamorphosis Remix" (this was after Doug but it was a HUGE album for R.E.X.)
