In 1918, armies on both sides of WWI were stricken by the Spanish Flu. Douglas MacArthur suffered a period of illness during this period that was unrelated to his bouts with mustard gas. Did he contract the Spanish Flu?  In this latest episode, Jim Zobel and Amanda Williams of the MacArthur Memorial briefly discuss MacArthur’s illness and the impact of the Spanish Flu on the Western Front.  Follow us: Twitter: @MacArthur1880 Amanda Williams on Twitter: @AEWilliamsClark Facebook/Instagram: @MacArthurMemorial www.macarthurmemorial.org
