A native of San Antonio Texas, Angela K. Allen has resided in the Alamo City all her life. The baby of two older sisters, as well as her father’s only child, Angela has always been used to getting what she wants. Growing up, mostly by herself due to her sisters being much older, Angela was able to receive most of everything she asked for and wanted to no consequence. Of course, once she got older, Angela continued to think she could do whatever, whenever, and however she wanted and there would be no consequences as before. She was TOTALLY wrong. The early part of her adult years she put herself through some challenging situations which have placed her in certain circumstances that will forever follow her throughout the rest of her life.
Fast forward, 2017, Angela is a 40ish(lol) mother of two and grandmother of one, with one on the way. Both young men, ages 17 and 19, Angela takes great pride in her children; making sure she raises great, powerful black men who will one day be the future of America. Family is everything to her. Whether it be immediate or extended, her father instilled in her that family was important and a necessary commodity in order to improve in this world. Spending time between family outings, church (where she sings in the Mass choir & Praise team) and writing, Angela keeps very busy. Still working full time for a Durable Medical Equipment company, she still found a way to write five novels in two years. Her future endeavors are to continue the pursuit of her Bachelor’s degree in Psychological Studies and Masters in English Literature; completing her ghostwriting project of a Non-Fiction Bio as well as finishing the series of The Rich Gang sisters. She also wants to speak to people, especially adolescents, on life choices and how to block peer pressure while trying to get an education. She wants to call it Motivational Encouragement.
Angela is a force to be reckoned with. Going between politically correct and radical beliefs, she has numerous pet peeves and nerve-wrecking thought processes that will either leave you cracking up for more or crying because she told you the truth about yourself.
