We had the opportunity to visit Daniel in Babylon. There we got insights on staying focus and steadfast through difficult times. Daniel was thrown into the lion's den for not following king Darius decree, to worship or prayed to no other god but only him, King Darius. Due to Daniel's discipline, he continued with his normal routine to pray three times a day. He believed in God and followed the Lord's commands and also committed in his heart to remain steadfast in his prayer and praise to the Lord.
The story of Daniel in the lion's den teaches us about the promises and faithfulness of God, even if we feel like everything has been lost.
Even for us today, we can take tips from daniel in not straying off course in daily renewing our minds disciplines.
Power word:
Psalms 23: 1,3,4
If you allow God to be your shepherd, he will supply your need. He will also be with you in your darkest times, willing and ready to support and guide you. Don't lose hope, because our challenges have not caught God by surprise.
Keep moving forward and developing new disciplines each day.
