Down Home Cajun Music- Bee Records
Elton Bee Cormier founded the Church Point Playboys in 1949. In the 1970's he wanted to record him and his band. But at that time , not many studios wanted to record Cajun music. He purchased a tape recorder and started to record musicians. Bee Records was born from his early recordings. This episode features many of the label's first recordings.
