Based in Boston, MA, Blunt Object has been a figure in the underground bass music scene for almost two decades. Originally from Seattle, his sound is heavily influenced by the 80s & 90s pop music, hip-hop and grunge he grew listening to. He started going to raves in the mid 90s as a graffiti writer and would later fall in love with DnB living in SF in the early 2000s, where the Blunt Object moniker was born. He then went in to produce DnB for the next 15 years and has worked with the likes of Homemade Weapons, Quadrant & Iris and D-Struct.

He had always dabbled with 4x4 and in 2016, decided to take a break from DnB and revive the Blunt Object moniker as an ode to SF, the city where he fell in love with EDM. He is now focused solely on producing Bass house and tech house with his own unique influence and is rising through the ranks quickly with his debut EP on Downright Dirty Recs.
