It hurts to say, but are they on the beginning of a downward spiral? With not really bringing anyone in this season and their lack of talent being brought in from the Draft in Previous years, opting to target experienced players may come back to bite them.

We have a deep dive into their list and just how it will look going into the season. With no Bobby Hill and no confirmed return date, is this small forward ready to step up in his place?

A well renowned player from last year's Trade Period had a poor 2026, looked a shallow of himself and made mistakes he doesn't normally make. Will this be the same player we see in 2026? Or will the Magpies back him in to control the back half.
