Text: Romans 11:33-36

Today we continue our consideration of the Apostle Paul's grand doxology as we look back upon all the high doctrine we've learned in the first eleven chapters of this epistle. Paul gives us three rhetorical questions about the greatness of God in verses 34-35, which are designed to prompt praise in our hearts, and then he lays out his all-encompassing paean of praise in verse 36 where we see that God is the source, means and purpose of all things. Have you ever considered why the Scripture puts so much emphasis on God's sovereignty in creation? It's because there's a key connection the LORD wants us to make in our minds and hearts with regard to His sovereignty in redemption.
