We all have so many passwords to remember and the worst thing that you can do is use the same password such as your bank pin, garage door opener, luggage locks, and online accounts. Honestly you're just asking for trouble if you do that.
One thing to consider is using a password vault.
You can install this software on your phone, tablet, laptop, and desktop and it will help you track all of your passwords. It is essentially a big database of encrypted passwords. You just need to remember the Master Password to unlock your password vault. Make sure that password is very complicated and you have it written down somewhere safe.
The password vault software is helpful as it automatically enters your password into websites you are accessing without needing to remember them, you just need to unlock your password vault with your master password. This way all of your accounts can have different and complicated passwords to better secure them.
You will likely not use this system for passwords you are very concerned about such as online banking.
There are many options for password vaults. A couple that I recommend are LastPass or Dashlane.
You can even use these systems to share passwords with other people such as family members.
