5. The DHE-DPS Robotics Competition
The DHE-DPS Elementary Robotics Competition gave students from across the district a chance to showcase months of hard work as they tested their skills in autonomous coding challenges, one-minute driving rounds and teamwork matches. Every robot was student-built and student-programmed, with teachers serving as guides rather than builders.
For many students, robotics is more than a competition. It’s an opportunity to explore STEAM, learn from failure and collaborate with peers. Events like this help ensure students are exposed early to the skills and pathways shaping the world around them and give them a space to be celebrated for their passion, curiosity and growth.
Join in on the fun on Saturday, Jan. 24 at 8 a.m. at North High School for the next robotics competition.
You can watch the full DHE-DPS Elementary Robotics Competition video.
That’s all for this week, folks! Thanks for tuning in. Like and subscribe to our show to stay informed of important DPS news throughout the year!
