Our esteemed guest on this Muslimah Voices podcast is the UK’s first female Shariah Council judge. Dr Amra Bone has a Masters and a Doctorate in Islamic Sciences from the University of Birmingham. Dr. Bone sits on the panel of the Shariah Council at Birmingham Central Mosque, where her job entails serving rules on Islamic divorce hearings. She has also advised on a number of Government reports and is a regular contributor on radio and television programmes.
