Dr. Ananda Basu is the Harrison Professor of Medicine in the division of Endocrinology at the University of Virginia. He received his MD from the Jawaharlal Institute in Pondicherry, India. He trained in endocrinology in Birmingham, England. He completed his fellowship at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Basu was part of the Mayo faculty until 2011 and has been at UVA since.
