There are now 45 cases of Covid-19 linked to an Auckland church whose members met during last month's lockdown.  

The sub-cluster at Mt Roskill Evangelical Fellowship church is New Zealand's seventh largest, since the virus reached the country on 28 February.

The church infections are linked to the larger Auckland 'August cluster', which has a total of 173 cases, of which 80 are currently active.

This morning we have Dr Api Talemaitoga from the Pacific Medical Association, the Ministry of Health’s Pacific Response Taskforce and the COVID-19 surveillance and testing strategy group brought onboard to assist during the COVID-19 pandemic.
