Dr Chiara de Lazzari – Donald Trump's 2020 strategies: a failure of deliberate? (Episode 11)

Politics vs. Policy investigates public policy issues through a diverse variety of political lenses. It is curated with the notion that policy does not equate politics, although the two cannot be fully separated. With the increasing politicisation and polarisation, we believe that analysing policy issues using diverse perspectives becomes more relevant than ever. Politics vs. Policy designs its discussions on the policymaking processes with the political climate and policy alternatives as significant considerations. Our hope is that our discussions are not only left as critiques, but also offer a bigger picture on how policy shapes and is shaped by different political agendas and therefore, what it means to us as a part of the society. Our vision is for the young listeners to shift away from the ‘us vs. them’ into a ‘politics vs. policy’ mindset, adopting empathy without leaving objectivity.
