"Dr. Matusiak had a vision. Even back in her undergraduate college days, she knew how critically important and connected the mind and the physical body were. So, she graduated from Cornell College with a BA degree in Biology and Psychology. It was shortly after graduating that she began working at Abbott Laboratories. This did NOT fulfill her passion of working with people and having a direct impact and influence on their health. It was then that she discovered the field of Chiropractic Medicine and Applied Kinesiology … and as she was beginning to make a choice on the next steps…Abbott had a huge lay-off and sealed her fate! Dr. Matusiak was in love and had found her true calling and passion in holistic medicine!

Dr. Matusiak has been married to her husband Jason for 15 years, and they have 3 beautiful (and a bit crazy!) boys together: Evan (10), Noah (7), and Payton (4). She practices what she preaches in her own life and life with her family. Fitness, health, joy, peace and love are what drives her. Dr. Matusiak truly enjoys exercise and physical fitness, and has completed the Chicago Marathon in 2009, as well as the Naperville Sprint Triathlon in 2019.
