Dr. Daniel Pedersen is a Research Fellow in Systematic Theology at the University of Aberdeen. He is also the author of “The Eternal Covenant: Schleiermacher on God and Natural Science" and "Schleiermacher’s Theology of Sin and Nature: Agency, Value, and Modern Theology."

In this episode Dr. Pedersen provides a crash course on Friedrich Schleiermacher ahead of the Systematic Theology Seminar at the University of Aberdeen reading through ”The Christian Faith." We discuss how Dr. Pedersen discovered Schleiermacher as well as Barth's overlap with Karl Barth.
