We’re honored to continue our conversation with Dr. David Armstrong in this special part 2 episode! Dr. Armstrong is founder and co-director of Southwestern Academic Limb Salvage Alliance (SALSA). He has produced more than 575 peer-reviewed research papers and dozens of scholarly medical journals. Among his many titles, Dr. Armstrong is also the Director of USC’s National Science Foundation and has been selected as one of the first 6 international wound care ambassadors. In 2008 he was the 25th youngest ever member elected to the podiatric medicine hall of fame, and the first podiatric surgeon to become a member of the society of Vascular Surgery.
