Dr. Dawn Becker is originally from Nairobi, Kenya, studied medicine in Heidelberg, Germany and did her medical residency and infectious disease fellowship in the United States. Her joy in medicine is found investigating interesting infectious diseases. Outside of medicine, she has a penchant for inspiring women to push past their fears and achieve their goals.  Dr. Becker speaks very candidly about how she faced fear at several transition points in her life and emerged victoriously.
