Dr. Duvalier J. Malone, a nationally recognized author, political columnist, and CEO of Duvalier Malone Enterprises, joins Deanna Neal to discuss what's happening in the Black community.
According to recent data from the U.S. Census Bureau and Pew Research, only 35% of Black adults say they trust the federal government to do the right thing, down from 50% in 2015.
Nearly half of Black Americans under 30 also say voting "doesn't make much difference," reflecting growing political disillusionment.
