Right when we needed a little shot in the arm of something good, mother nature delivered. Did you see Lake Monona the first half of this week? Better yet, did you skate on Lake Monona? It was five miles of glass. It wasn’t the earliest freeze on record but it was the most beautiful. Or was it? What, scientifically speaking, needs to happen for ice this perfect?
