On this episode of the Seeing Eye Dogs Show, Harriet talks with Dr Geraldine Lane about her PhD on the benefits of having a dog guide. We talk about her thesis: 'There's more to a Dog Guide than meets the Eye' and the findings.
We also talk about her life and relationships with her own Seeing Eye Dogs. Geraldine was recently a finalist in the 2022 Blind Australian of the Year award. As an academic, and spreading the message of the capabilities of people who are blind or have low vision, her work inspiring others and leading a career in education earnt her the nomination.
The full interview will be available soon as an interview highlight on Vision Australia Radio's OMNY.FM feed.
