Originally from the Ivory Coast, Dr. Ouattara discusses the importance of the meaning of his name and how it impacted him growing up. He was accepted as a Fulbright scholar to Georgia State University. An unexpected encounter with the police forced Dr. Ouattara into imprisonment while attending school.
