While sitting by the fire, one of the flaming wisps graced my fingertips. That short burst of pain from being burned lit the spark of this episode: Torch Songs. I've done my civic duty in past episodes around this time of year of jazz / food-related posts, but this one goes out to those who have been burned or have carried (or may still carry) a torch for someone.
