Dr. Jim Hearn worked for over 48 years in a variety of professions that span active Vietnam Era Army, Academe and Federal Service with the Department of the Army.  Most of his time was spent in leadership positions.  As a member of the Senior Executive Service, Dr. Hearn was a Director Regional Business with the Army Corps of Engineers, overseeing the internal operating budget, technical experts in engineering and construction, strategic planning, organizational governance and a $5B military, interagency and international construction program.
