An award-winning author, Dr. Shropshire is the David W. Hauck Professor Emeritus at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, where he leads the Wharton Coalition on Equity and Opportunity. He served as an executive with the Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee and has worked with many sports entities.
