A righteous woman knows that her
Ability to pray is like the job of a farmer. And what I mean by this is a former can look at the land and tell whether or not the soil was fertile, a former can taste the soil and tell what's wrong with it and what it needs. I'm looking upon a good piece of land even though there are rocks and debris and recognizing what you have within that soil and what it takes to bring it to the place that it needs to be in order to produce good crop. And she understand her relationship with her mate and her prayer life produces good fertile soil that she plants her garden and expects to yield the best fruit money can buy. The production of the fruit and the crop tells you everything you need to know about the prayer life of the woman and her relationship with her mate and with God.
And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labor among you, and are over you in Yahuah, and admonish you; And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves. Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men. See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks: for this is the will of Yahuah in Mashiach Yahusha concerning you. TASLONIQIYM RI'SHON (1 THESSALONIANS) 5:12-18
Want to know the benefits of a praying woman? You've come to the right place. Yahuah has called women to be a helpmate. One of the best ways to help someone is through prayer.
And said Yahuah your Power, “It is not good for man to be alone; I will make for him a helpmate [‘ezer kenegdo].” Genesis 2:18
According to Dictionary.com the English verb “help” can have many senses, but the top three are:1. to give or provide what is necessary to accomplish a task or satisfy a need; contribute strength or means to; render assistance to; cooperate effectively with; aid; assist.2. to save; rescue.3. to make easier or less difficult; contribute to; facilitate.
A helper, then, in English at least, is someone who does some or all of these things.
The necessity of an ‘ezer kenegdo. The argument concerning the tree of the knowledge of good and evil to the requirement for an ‘ezer kenedgdo. Furthermore, the story of the Fall focuses on the role of the ‘ezer kenegdoand the tree. The obvious conclusion is the purpose of the ‘ezer kenegdois somehow connected to the command for Adam to obey. Adam doesn't need an assistant or a co-laborer. The assignment to care for the garden, be fruitful, multiply and take stewardship over the earth is given to both of them. They equally received Yahuah's directive. Adam isn't given the assignment and then delegates some of that responsibility to Havvah. the command prohibiting eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is given to Adam alone. It is his faithfulness to Yahuah's moral obligation. He needs a protector. He needs someone whose job is to keep him on the straight and narrow. He needs one who comes alongside for the express purpose of supporting his obedience.
Havvah role isn't the role of domestic servant, sexual outlet, production assistant or Vice President of Public Works. It was the role of priest! Therefore her creation was to be the one who made sure that Adam stayed faithful to Yahuah. She is the one who stands between Yahuah's command and Adam's obedience, watching over him so that he will not go astray. The help she brings is the help of rescue and salvation. In this role, she parallels Yahuah's ultimate relationship with Israel. Yahuah is the protector, provider and deliverer of Israel in the fallen world, but those are only roles Yahuah takes upon Himself after the Fall. In order to understand the role of the ‘ezer kenegdo, we must look at Yahuah's relationship with human beings before the Fall.
Prayer helps us focus on Yahuah and eternity instead of the temporary things of this world. It's a powerful weapon that Yahuah has given us to fight against our enemy's seen and unseen.
Through the assets of a prayerful woman one must recognize that she is capable of combative, uplifting, soothing, destroying the very things that come against QADASHIYM.
Part 2
Before we can understand why the power of the praying woman gets a different response or at times the greatest response we need to get a full understanding of the rules between the two.
For this exploration between the relationship of Yahuah and his creation before the fall. And we have the slightest of clues. The Hebrew words for “male” and “female” contain double stories. (Adam) said, “This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman (ishah), Because she was taken out of Man (ish).” For this reason a man (ish) shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife (ishah); and they shall become one flesh. (Genesis 2:23-24)
It may surprise English readers that the word adam is a neutral term meaning “human,” not specifically a man. In the original Hebrew text, all references to Adam are neutral until Yahuah takes some of Adam's flesh and makes a woman: ishah, in Hebrew. Only at that point is Adam called ish, a man. The Hebrew word ishah hints at her origins
from within the ish, something that we can mimic in English, with the words “man” and “woman.” But interestingly, Adam is never called an ish until the ishah has been separated from him. It is as if the text is implying that male and female cannot define themselves fully as human without the other.
We may not realize that this logic is part of the next verse that says that for this reason, when a man and woman marry, they become “one.” They are returning to Yahuah's first design before the ish and ishah were separated. The complementarity between man and woman is inherent in the way they were taken apart from each other, as the first ishah provides what the ish lacks. In Yahuah's design, it is the the two together who ultimately reflect the image of Yahuah.
Secondly! Yes, they also describe our sexuality, but they also imply something more. The Hebrew word for “male” is zakar. zakar is a homophone (each of two or more words having the same pronunciation but different meanings, origins, or spelling, for example new and knew.), To Remember is the 3- letter Hebrew Verb Root זָכַר, Zakar. It is translated, to be Mindful of, Recount, Make Mention of, to Boast, Bring to Remembrance, Bringing to Mind, Call to Mind, Celebrate, Come to Remembrance, Confess, Consider, Extol, Invoke, Keep, Preserve, Recorder, Remind, Report, Take Thought, Burns, Burn Incense, Earnestly, to be Male…
Zayn זָ = Weapon, Plow, to Cut, Cut off, Till, Nourish, Mattock…
Kaf כַ = Open Palm, Sole of foot, Allow, Access, Cover, Tame, Wing, having Lines…
Resh ר = Head, Person, Top, Highest, Summit, Chief, Beginning, First, Firstborn…
There is no better connection between these two elements than what is described in Psalm 103:18. “To such as guard his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them. TEHILLIYM (PSALMS) 103:18 CEPHER”
We are instructed to Remember the reason Israel came out of the house of slavery, by the strength of His Hand, on the 14th day of the 1st month of Spring: “And Mosheh said unto the people, Remember (זָכַר Zakar) this day, in which ye came out from Mitsrayim, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand (יְהוָֹה) Yahuah brought you out from this place: there shall no chamets (leaven) be eaten. SHEMOTH (EXODUS) 13:3 את CEPHER
יְהוֹשׁוּעַ Yehoshua (Jesus) revealed the reason we Remember as we eat Unleavened Bread for 7 days. He said this is the Bread that represents His My body given for you. We proclaim His Death until He returns:
And He took the bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body, given for you; do this in Remembrance of Me,” Luke 22:19; 1 Corinthians 11:26; Hebrews 9:28
We are so quick to forget, and not even able to grasp what our Creator has done, unless we Remember repeatedly:
I will Remember (זָכַר Zakar) the works of יָהּ Yah; yes, I will Remember (זָכַרZakar) Your wonders of old, Psalm 77:11
The purpose of zakar is not simply to bring something to mind. It is to bring something to mind in order to act upon it. “Thus remembrance of Yahuah and the obedience it implies are experienced as a vitally necessary relationship, from which a man cannot and must not escape” (Eising). zakar is an action that is “necessary for human existence” and “a fundamental bond of mutual remembrance that unites Yahuah and man.”
Do you see why the homophone of zakar is so intriguing? Is it possible that being in Yahuah's image as male (zakar) could be related to a man's necessity to remember who Yahuah is and how He related to men? Man is called to remember in particular to remember Yahuah and his obligation to Him, the Creator of all things. In this sense, Adam bears the image of Yahuah and as one who is called to the remembrance of what Yahuah said, who Yahuah is and to act accordingly.
What about “female?” The Hebrew nekavah also has another story. In combination with zakar (male), the two words demonstrate that the image of Yahuah is carried in the complement of these two. Both are necessary for human beings to be human. But nekavah also has its own enhancement. In this case, the Arabic cognate not only means “to pierce, to make a hole,” but also “single out” and “appoint as a leader.” These meanings are also found in Scripture. For example, a slave for life (voluntarily) is marked by a hole bored in the ear. When he is given a name, his identity is transferred from the hole in the ear to the name he bears. Furthermore, we find the word used to describe an appointment to a high office. Finally, Isaiah 62:2 describes being given a new name (nakav) as something of importance and value. Could it be that the nekavah as ‘ezer kenedgo is appointed to an office of distinction, a role in which she carries a new identity and bears the mark of that identity with her sexuality. After all, she is the “mother of all living”. Everyone born of woman must find a new identity through the breach or tunnel of her body and in the process acquire a name.
What do we discover about the ‘ezer kenegdo? The text suggests that she is designed for the specific purpose of maintaining obedience between her man and Yahuah. She is his intercessor. She is to guard his relationship with the Creator, support him when he embraces Yahuah's direction and oppose him when he does not. She is the helper opposite in the only arena where he needs additional attention. Not work, not world-changing assignments, not dominion, not stewarding but spiritual awareness and obedience. Without her, the man is at great risk and particularly vulnerable.
Is this the role you imagined for the ‘ezer kenegdo? This makes it rather impossible to think of women as second-class citizens in the Body, doesn't it?
Without Yahuah We Are Insatiable
The second revelation is that "aleph" and "sheen" אֵשׁ spell the word for "fire" in Hebrew the symbolize devouring and destruction.
What remains of man and woman without Yah? Fire! We become a consuming destruction to each other that cannot be satisfied without Him.
“She'ol; and the barren womb; the earth that is not filled with water; and the fire that says not, It is enough. “ MISHLEI (PROVERBS) 30:16
Considering that both "male" and "female" carry a different element of Yahuah's name, we can understand that by design, we function differently yet together in unity. Without both aspects, the image of Yahuah is incomplete and distorted.
“Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in Yahuah. “ QORINTIYM RI'SHON (1 CORINTHIANS) 11:11
Male Aspect of God's name
The male aspect of Yahuah's name is the "yod," represented by a picture of a hand or forearm representing work.
The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from Yahuah. The sun arises, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens. Man goes forth unto his work and to his labor until the evening. O Yahuah, how manifold are your works! in wisdom have you made them all: the earth is full of your riches. TEHILLIYM (PSALMS) 104:21-24
It also represents power. How valuable for men to discover that they were designed to be powerful in Yahuah's kingdom and imagers סורק tselek (magnetic resonance imager) of His potency. This reality is evidenced and illustrated in the New Testament at the restoration of Yahuah's purpose for man in Yahusha.
AND when he had called unto him his twelve Talmidiym, he gave them power against unclean ruachoth, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. MATTITHYAHU (MATTHEW) 10:1
The image of the forearm power also presents to us the idea provision.
. . . if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. I Timothy 5:8
In the above verse, we see the exhortation addresses the issue of not fulfilling a role intended to exhibit a quality of Yahuah. Men, in this verse, are harshly described as being worse than an unbeliever because such behavior misrepresents the Yahuah they are claiming to serve.
Female Representation of God's Name
The female aspect carried by the woman is the "hey" and is a picture of a window imaging the idea of revealing or reflecting. Women by design show, reflect and express the effects of glory and power.
“For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of Yahuah: but the woman is the glory of the man.” QORINTIYM RI'SHON (1 CORINTHIANS) 11:7
Women gloriously shine when they are powerfully loved, protected, and provided for.
The following verse gives us an illustrative example and communicates the purpose of the church itself, which the female represents.
“. . . But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of Yahuah, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Ruach Yahuah.” QORINTIYM SHENIY (2 CORINTHIANS) 3:18
When at the end of a word, the letter "hey," as it does in the term for "woman" "ishah" אִשָׁה, also symbolizes something productive. Women carry the unique ability to produce, imaging the purpose of the church to be fruitful. Paul prays.
“. . . That ye might walk worthy of Yahuah unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of Yahuah;” QOLASIYM (COLOSSIANS) 1:10
Women depict Yahuah's love bestowed upon us that ultimately produces fruit. In His book "The Purpose and Power of a Woman," Myles Monroe observes that women naturally incubate. Give women (plant seed) a vision, idea, or purpose and watch as they begin to organize the details of something and bring them together towards that unified goal.
The "hey" comes after the "yod" in Yahuah's name Yah
“...For A'dam was first formed, then Havah. And A'dam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. Notwithstanding she shall be safe in childbearing, if they continue in faith and love and holiness with sobriety.” TIMOTHEUS RI'SHON (1 TIMOTHY) 2:13-15
This verse demonstrates that to represent God's glorious image accurately, the "female/wife" must function in submission to the "male/husband" by coming underneath the covering of his power, provision, and protection in loyalty and faithfulness.
“Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to Yahuah.” Ephesians 5:22
This order of operations animates the whole of humankind, both male and female, submitting to Yahuah Himself through our loyalty and faithfulness to Him.
“Submit yourselves therefore to Yahuah. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” YA`AQOV (JAMES) 4:7
The result is a glorious exhibit of His greatness.
“ARISE, shine; for your light is come, and the glory of Yahuah is risen upon you. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but Yahuah shall arise upon you, and his glory shall be seen upon you.” YESHA'YAHU (ISAIAH) 60:2
The woman represents Yahuah's glory and goodness bestowed upon all He has created.
If we return to Genesis 1:27, we can see both Yahuah's person and power are image expressed in what He created. Which is the beginning place of understanding the dynamic of oneness through the two are accurately represented when functioning in submission to One another in Love, as the two collectively submit under the authority of their Creator.
(I'm sorry that this one is so long. I just couldn't say what had to be said with less.)
