Dr. Marcia Harris, MD, was interviewed by Dr. Miriam Amanda Smith, DNP. Dr. Harris shared her experiences as a black female MD in her era. Shouts of appreciation for such pioneers as they cleared the path for others to follow. As we share in celebrating Black History Month, we must say we have come far and let us show the world that we care.
