When it comes to closed schools, Johns Hopkins surgeon and professor Dr. Marty Makary put it bluntly: “It’s an American disgrace.” Dr. Makary made the comments in an interview released today on a new podcast from Pinkston called Coffee with Closers. 

Dr. Makary also pushed back on the claim being made by Dr. Fauci and others that 70-85% of the U.S. population needs to be vaccinated in order to achieve herd immunity.
