Washed Gods. Washed. Never Washed Up. Back like we never left. Another week in the books & the Gods have been busy. Sean has been contemplating employment options. Draft has been doing the same. Both are as enthused about it as you could imagine. Topics this week were right in the pocket. We started off talking about Jay-Z’s lawsuit against Jonathan Mannion & Dame Dash. This is the feud that never ends. If it’s not one thing, it’s another.
Police surveillance has reached a new level of intrusive with there ability to track traffic to a particular place at a particular time. How long has this technology been around? And why are they always testing it out in the hood like fast food? Again. If it ain’t one thing…
Air BNB has been covering up all sorts of potential bad press by paying off victims of crimes while using their clients homes. It makes you wonder what else you don’t know about your Air BNB.
Tik Tok has a new challenge geared toward white women who can fake cry & stop on cue. I’m not going to say anything that doesn’t need to be said. Let’s just agree that this isn’t a surprise to black people. We’re familiar with this bait & switch. RIP Emmitt Till. The conversation broadened out to the idea of censorship online. Companies like Tik Tok, Instagram, & Twitter (NOT YouTube tho) have been known to censor independent content if it supports a narrative they find offensive or disagree with.
The Hawks are in the Eastern Conference finals. We’ll see how this series plays out.
