Today, we are joined by Dr. Michael Shafor,  PharmD, who serves as an Adjunct Professor to the Pharmaceutics department at Nova Southeastern Pharmacy School, specializing in sterile compounding. 

Dr. Shafor talks through how Pharmacy students learn about the importance of handling hazardous drugs and educating future professionals.

He also explains the significance of USP regulations and why they are so vital in the pharmaceutical field. 

Lastly, Dr. Shafor shares his input on why the Closed System Transfer Device (CSTD) needs to keep evolving as new discoveries are made in healthcare.
